We are pleased to announce that ITFA has inaugurated its own ‘Trade Finance for a Good Cause’ campaign, whereby we will start supporting, by way of a financial donation, a charitable institution domiciled in the country where we host our Annual Conference.
For this year, we have chosen to support the “Academia dos Champs”. Founded in 2009, Academia dos Champs www.academiadoschamps.org has the status of an IPSS (Private Institution of Social Solidarity) being an independent, apolitical and non-profit project for social inclusion.
Through the teaching of tennis, Academia dos Champs demonstrates the countless benefits of facing sports – as well as its inherent principles and values – as a philosophy of life. Their mission is to promote social inclusion, using sports as an empowerment tool and as a mean to monitor children and youngsters identified as being in a socially vulnerable situation.
ITFA is honoured to be supporting this noble cause and will be donating the sum of €5,000.
