Airport Transportation

The Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) is situated approximately 16,5km north of the conference Hotel and the taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes.

The airport also provides a quick journey by Metro, line E – Violet (Aeroporto – Estádio do Dragão). This line operates daily from 06:00 – 01:00 and from here, getting to the city centre (either Trindade or Bolhão station) takes about 30 minutes. Devesas train station is located only 600m from the hotel.

Transfers will not be provided by ITFA. Taxis are a great, hassle-free and convenient way to get from/to the airport. A taxi between the airport and hotel will cost between €20 and €25.

Electricity

The electric current in Portugal is 230/400 volts at a frequency of 50 hertz and sockets comply with European standards.

European Emergency Number – 112

112 is the single European emergency telephone number, available throughout the European Union, free of charge.

In the event of any emergency, 112 can be dialled from both fixed telephone lines as well as from mobile phones. The call is free and will be answered immediately by the emergency centres that trigger the medical.
