This enjoyable international evening will be held in the historic Port wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, at the World of Wine, WOW. A cocktail dinnatoire will be served on the terrace of the Espaço VP restaurant making this evening unforgettable for the conference guests.
World of Wine is a new quarter that celebrates the city and the wine. WOW compiles the history, magic and emotions behind Portuguese wines, the ritual of drinking glasses and the cork industry. WOW is more than museums, it is an entire district full of new and exciting things to do, explore, and learn. Seven museum experiences, nine restaurants, shops, a temporary exhibition space, an events space and a wine school. The central square is the focal point of this new cultural district. It is the place to soak up the breath-taking views over Porto’s magnificent skyline, the Douro River and the D. Luís I. Bridge, whilst enjoying a delicious meal or glass of wine at the restaurant.

Gala Dinner

Gala dinner will be held at the elegant Ferreira Port Wine cellars, a historic venue on the beautiful river side of V.N.de Gaia.
Established in an old convent, Ferreira Cellars is one of the most extraordinary wineries that you can visit in Gaia. Housed in a large building with high worn wooden ceilings, the Cellar was founded in 1751 by a family of winemakers.
The Port Wine cellars will give you the opportunity to taste this precious nectar, to meet its evolution through the years, the region where it is produced and the way it is obtained.
